The food here is devine. I have been here twice the first time I had the sea bass. I do not like fish but my husband said try something new. I do not regret it! The appetizer crab dip in the bread bowl is delicious! The service is fantastic and even the owner made rounds and talked to everyone. He gets all his fish fresh daily from his boat which is right outside the restaurant. Upscale food with a down to earth atmosphere! I am originally from Maine so slightly bias that the best seafood is in Maine but Marker 107 beats a few places in Maine outta the water!! A must stop!- Oh yeah and if it looks like you are driving to the middle of nowhere you are but it's worth it!

Off the beaten path this place was awesome! Friendly service and honest waitress. Will definately go back when I'm in the area.

We just had a fantastic sea food dinner and the food was fantastic I'll rate it at a 5 star +. The owners and staff were absolutely fantastic and we're from California and our first time here. It's a must if you're in the area. Hope to see more people rate it. And talk about Southern hospitality it' was fantastic the owner and staff were great. They just put in a brand new ADA compliant ramp for wheelchair and scooters. The do need to add a good ramp going to the porch, they probably could add a nice by utilizing the small deck that has a double door on it and adding a door to it from near the entrance..

Love Marker 107! Crab cakes and jasmine rice is my favorite meal. The kids burger is delicious too. Love the view.

Recommended. This is a seafood restaurant on the Georgia coast about a 20-30 minute drive from I-95 (down route 144). It's right on the water in the small Kilkenny Marina. My wife and I visited here with friends on several occasions over the 10-year period we lived on the Georgia coast. The quality of food and service is spotty. Sometimes it's good. Sometimes it is mediocre. You'll note from this review I'm not citing specific dishes. That's because none are memorable. Their prices are little high. This is typical for the area in our experience. Finding "really" good restaurants in coastal Georgia, generally, is a challenge. Many of them charge New York City prices without offering comparable quality. This one walks the line in this respect. The views from this place are unique if you've never seen the marshy Georgia coast. If you'll be in the area for a while and want to see an alternate view, try the Sunbury Crab Company (exit 76 off I-95). It offers better views, Key West style marsh side seating, and comparable prices. website: marker107.com

The superb view alone is worth the drive, but the food is excellent too. I particularly liked the She-Crab Soup and Shrimp and Grits. The French fries are nothing special and portions are a bit small on the sandwiches and baskets. In the second of two meals there, the service was agonizingly slow. However, the manager gave advance warning of this and offered a complementary appetizer. The service ended up being slower than I could have imagined, but it was an opportunity to enjoy the spectacular view so I wasn't complaining. When the bill finally came, they had comp'd everything except the entree, so I wasn't unhappy. I will return, but will try to avoid peak hours on Friday and Saturday nights.

I took my mother here recently with some friends on a Friday night. There wasn't a wait for a table which was nice since it was 7:30pm. The decor is very tasteful and would be a good place for a date night. It was too dark to see the water and boats but hope to do so this summer. The owner made it a priority to interact with all the customers. He was very friendly and has a great sense of humor. I am a veteran and my husband is currently deployed and to thanks us for our service and sacrifice he comped our meal. This was such an amazing surprise. The food was incredible! I recommend the she crab soup and shrimp and grits. The cocktails were very good as well. I will defiantly be coming back with my husband this summer.

Great location. Ate out side. Beautiful area!!!! The buffalo shrimp were fantastic! Soft shell crab was good. We had the shrimp and fish tacos. Both were good. We've had better elsewhere but they were still good.

Love this place! Beautiful scenery, cool interior and covered outdoor eating area, great food and awesome employees! I usually get the sirloin with grits and broccoli and am never disappointed. Tonight I tried the she crab soup... delish! Oh, and the homemade key lime pie is bomb, too!

Boy, talk about a local spot that is a hidden treasure? Sitting right on the river, this place is one step from amazing (it was dark and windy when I went) but I bet it would be better if it was day time to actually see the river. Came here with two friends, one who grew up around the local area so everyone basically knew her. We had a lots of hey's and hello's. Everyone was VERY friendly. It's refreshing that nice people are still around. Started with the seafood dip. Came in a bread bowl and boy, that was delicious. If you were to pick a starter, this would be a good choice. I haven't tried their crab cakes (and I am a big fan of crab cakes) so if I were here again, I'd try those. For the entree, had the swordfish since it was the catch of the day. Thick cut, no smell, grilled. I've never had swordfish before so I'm not sure how it's "supposed" to come but from what I had, it was pretty tasty. Filling, doesn't taste "fishy", very hearty. It was by far one of the thickest cut of fish I've ever experienced so they aren't skimping you on quantity here. For the sides, had an order of cheesy grits and baked potato. Nothing to rave about there, just normal sides that you can assume. Overall, if you're in the area, go and find this place. It's a great find for both food and people and a great place to enjoy a relaxing dinner weather with friends or a nice date. Totally recommended

Great location. Nice owner came out and chatted with everyone. Large area for kids to roam around near the water. We were looking a good meal but the food was average. Shrimp and grits-batter on shrimp was very heavy, grits were so thick that my spoon almost stood upright in the bowl. If the quality of the food was better, this could be an amazing place. We all had different dishes but everyone commented that the food wasn't that great.

Fantastic service, great owners, even better views! Food was really good, a huge plate of flounder, shrimp, brocolli & sweet potato fries, I'm just not crazy about all fried food, although menu did have options for blackened fish sandwiches. Two levels, looked like a cool bar downstairs. An amazing dock out back and after dinner we enjoyed watching dolphin.

I absolutely fell in love with this place. The view is remarkable. We unfortunately got there a little late in the evening and didn't get to enjoy it very long before the sun went down. We sat on the outdoor patio that overlooked the dock. It was a chilly night but the outdoor heaters kept us plenty warm! Our party all order seafood and there wasn't anything left on our plates when we finished. The shrimp and grouper were both very fresh tasting and the sides were very good as well. We also got the low country seafood dip in a bread bowl as an app.... YUM! Their wine list was extensive, good beer list, great service and amazing seafood. I can't wait to go back!

The views from this restaurant are amazing. Wow! Just to sit and relax with a drink and look out is worth the drive. Okay, so it's not that far for me since I live in Richmond Hill but it's quite a trek from Savannah. (The last comment is directed at my Savannah friends who DID NOT want to come all the way out here! But once they did, they were happy, happy, happy.) As an appetizer the low country seafood dip is so good next time I might just have two orders and call it dinner! No, I couldn't do that because then I'd miss out on the fabulous Grey Ghost platter. The platter consists of crab cakes, flounder, shrimp and oysters. YUM! My dinner companions had the fried flounder and the fried shrimp. Rave reviews for both entrees. Along with the delicious food is a fabulous wait staff. The staff is nice, friendly and very attentive. Our drinks were brought out ice cold, and our food brought out piping hot --- and all with a smile. (Don't you just love great service!) Make it a point to drive out here and enjoy a beautiful view, good drinks and delicious seafood. You won't be disappointed by this local favorite seafood restaurant

We made a dinner reservation for eight last night over an hour in advance, and still had to wait an hour after we got here. There was a party of 23 outside and we had to wait for them to eat and leave before they would seat us. This really isn't the best place to have a party of 23 for anyone who is wondering, you might as well just rent out the whole place for the night. I ordered the special of the night, flounder with a citrus glaze, and two sides. I chose the baked potato and coleslaw. The food took awhile and I asked for sugar for my tea and never got any and had to ask again when she came back awhile later. The food came out and it was all hot and fresh. The flounder was amazing, and the citrus glaze reminded me of the sauce they use in Chinese lemon chicken. The baked potato was overcooked, the coleslaw was bland, and there were a few hard hush puppies that almost hurt my teeth they were so crunchy. My tea was low for some time and she brought out a pitcher to refill it, but the pitcher had barely any ice and I don't know why people don't understand tea needs a lot of ice because it doesn't come out of a cold dispenser like the sodas do. I didn't want to bother her anymore so I dealt with luke warm "iced" tea. Overall the experience was enjoyable, the patio is screened in so no bugs. The lighting was very dim and we liked it but some might not. I would go back, the owner came around a few times and he was a pleasure to chat with.

Marker 107 -- what's not to love? Great location, fast and friendly service, wonderful views, and delicious food! I've been wanting to try this place for a while (I guess my only complaint is that they are not open every day, haha), and tonight was finally the night. I had the grilled Georgia shrimp with the fresh veggies (collard greens, done right!) and sweet potato fries. My guy had the Grey Ghost platter. We also had the calamari appetizer. I have eaten calamari all over the world, and I have to say this was about the best I've had, ever. We cleaned our plates as far as the entrees went, too. We sat on the screened porch overlooking the water and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I cannot wait to go back! I tried to check in on Yelp while there, but unfortunately it's impossible in an area with little cell service. :)

Great dinner. Went here with the whole family and what a beautiful place. Food was great and so was service.

Food and service is mediocre. The owner? had his dog (on a leash but still...) in the restaurant Shrimp was overcooked and tough. Service was sparse. The only justification for the price paid was the view of the marshlands. Not enough in my mind. We are new, but local residents and will not be going back.

The swordfish special was good (grilled and blackened). There was lots of fried seafood to choose from on the menu. I had the blackened Georgia shrimp which was very tasty. A little salty, but good flavor. Decent selection of wine and beer and skinny girl cocktails if you like those. Friendly staff. We went early on a Thursday and plenty of room. Nice porch but way too hot and muggy in July.

Marker 107 is definitely not on the beaten path, but is a wonderful restaurant. It's on the river, with old oak trees and a wonderful view of the marshes. On Thursday night, a man was playing acoustic guitar on the deck, but we were inside with the air conditioning. By the time we left, it was cooler outside and the deck seemed to be the place to be. Our server was really energetic and friendly, knowing the food but being honest about what she'd personally eaten. We ordered an appetizer of fried mushrooms which in hindsight was a small mistake. The mushrooms were really good, but we should have been more adventurous and tried the calamari or seared duck breast instead. Eater's remorse, I guess. We got our entrees which turned out to be very tasty. I got fried scallops and a crab cake, with baked potato and cheese grits as my sides. The crab cake was smallish, but loaded with crab meat and cooked perfectly. The scallops were delicious. I have a hard time with scallops some times. The flavor varies so much, but these were spot-on. My wife got the fried shrimp (as she always does when at a seafood restaurant) and they were excellent. I've got a theory about food that there is only so tasty a food can be. If it's perfect, it's perfect. Another can be perfect, too, just different. These shrimp were perfect. Light dusting and perfectly fried. You can have different, but it won't get better. My wife got the baked potato and peas for her sides. Ever seen peas as the vegetable of the day? Me either. She had to try it and said they were really good, too. Nicely seasoned were those peas. Sorry to say, but we didn't get to try the desserts. Overall, a very nice dinner. Would highly recommend and go there again.
